Once again I hit a dark period of posting but that wasn’t my fault. Earlier this week I displayed a video for Bioshock 2 that was uploaded by a PS3 user, well now thanks to the genius of GameTrailers and video capture cards you can now witness what will hopefully be the next best thing in 2009 (hopefully!) in HD.

I’ll keep it short and sweet but this little tid-bit of info just nearly slipped under my radar, the shame I would have brought on myself. Speculation is still happening but for a much more official and accepted info source then head over to IGN. Prepare for a collective force orgasm. Hopefully it will have more success than that of Star Wars Galaxies.

Not much to talk about lately, I’m sure you have been hearing tidbits of news everywhere. Dead Space has been released today in America but us Europeans have to wait slightly longer; I’ve been interested in Dead Space for a long time and with it’s launch trailer on GameTrailers I’m pretty sure you won’t see a better trailer this week, it helps tell a little bit of the story without you having to watch the animated comics or the feature film tie-in (which doesn’t look like a crappy tie-in I might add) Watch the trailer after the break. In the personal news referring to the Woking Drama Festival we unfortunately didn’t win but we did walk away with three awards: Best Actor, Best Director and Best Use of Sound which we are very happy with and gives us enough closure to say goodbye to the Samsa family. read more…

A few days ago it was announced that Fable II would not be released with its online co-op in place, instead it would come later as a patch; many of us thought “Woah, why not just delay the game till it’s fully intact” then those that did think that had an aneurysm for thinking silly things, granted the time could have been used to create a stable environment instead of your best friend coming in to your world on the first few days of release and making your wife cheat on you then bludgeoning her to a pulp right in front of your eyes. Instead we will not suffer a delay in game release or have to wait for the online functionality to be implemented as they will both arrive on time and hopefully bug free. I went to the job interview today, hopefully I’ll get it and if so expect this to be filling one of the many spots in my desired game list this November. Watch out for your wives people, they may be virtual but your virtual children will hate you and your friend.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, our nerves tingled when the LIVE service had to be shut down for 24 hours on that fateful Monday and before that when we had a system update but then all hope was smashed when we were dutifully informed that no new features would be implemented, Microsoft left us hanging with only a speculation that it would be released in the Autumn (Fall to the Americans). The wait is over, and many calenders around the world have been jotted into with “NXE YAY! FTW!!1″ under November 19th. Expect a lot of forum avatars to be displaying peoples new Xbox avatars (I’m very tempted). Now we just have to wait…Is it time yet? Now?…now?…how about now? Where did I put that time machine?
